Parents/Guardians are responsible for selecting the appropriate grade level for their child in the upcoming challenge, following these guidelines:
- For Students Who Began the Current Academic Term Before June 1, 2024:
You should select your child’s current ongoing grade level for the November-December 2024 challenge.
- For Students Who Began the Current Academic Term After June 1, 2024:
Parents have the option to choose either the current ongoing grade level or the previous grade level for the challenge.
- Advantages of Choosing the Previous Grade Level:
Your child will have completed the entire syllabus for the chosen grade, ensuring thorough preparation for the exam.
- Disadvantages of Choosing the Previous Grade Level:
The certificate awarded will reflect the grade level of the exam, which will be one grade lower than your child’s current grade.
For Students Following the UK Curriculum:
Year 1 corresponds to Grade 1, Year 2 to Grade 2, and so on. Years 12 and 13 correspond to Grade 12.
